Looking for a birthday party they'll be talking about long after the day is over? Give them and their friends the chance to experience something completely different with a Kids Scuba Party at Scuba Academy.
After getting kitted out in real scuba equipment, they'll discover what it's like to breathe underwater before taking part in a range of fun underwater games and challenges with their friends.
With our experienced PADI Professionals looking after them throughout the experience, the kids can concentrate on what really matters – having an amazing time underwater!

WHAT HAPPENS AT A KIDS SCUBA PARTY?
We start by welcoming everyone and introducing them to the scuba equipment they'll be using. Our instructors explain how everything works, cover some simple safety rules and make sure everyone is comfortable before the underwater adventure begins.
Then it's time to get in!
We'll introduce the children to breathing underwater and give them time to get used to the equipment before the games begin.
They'll get the chance to swim underwater, blow bubbles and take part in activities with their friends. Think underwater Frisbee, torpedoes, races and challenges – with plenty of laughs along the way.
Our instructors are with the children throughout the scuba experience, keeping everything organised, supervised and fun.
It's a birthday party that's definitely a little different from the usual soft play, bowling or cinema trip – and one they're unlikely to forget!

HOW OLD DO THE CHILDREN NEED TO BE?
Children need to be at least 8 years old to take part in the scuba experience.
HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN ATTEND?
Our standard Kids Scuba Party is for the birthday child plus up to 5 friends, giving a maximum group of 6 children.
DO THEY NEED TO HAVE TRIED SCUBA BEFORE?
No. They only need to be comfortable in the water. There is no minimum swim test for Bubblemaker.
DO THEY NEED TO BE STRONG SWIMMERS?
They don't need to be competitive swimmers, but they should be comfortable and confident being in the water.
IS ALL THE SCUBA EQUIPMENT PROVIDED?
Yes. All the scuba equipment needed for the experience is provided, so there's no need to buy or hire anything separately.
WHAT GAMES WILL THEY PLAY?
Activities can vary depending on the group, but expect plenty of underwater fun. Games can include underwater Frisbee, torpedoes, egg-and-spoon style races and other underwater challenges.
DO I NEED A MEDICAL FORM?
Yes. All participants complete a short medical questionnaire. If anything is flagged, you may need a doctor’s clearance before diving.
DO PARENTS NEED TO COMPLETE ANY PAPERWORK?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian will need to complete the required paperwork before their child can participate.
HOW LONG DOES THE PARTY LAST?
Allow approximately 2 hours for the experience, including getting everyone ready, the briefing, equipment fitting and underwater activities.
IS THE PARTY SUPERVISED?
Yes. The scuba activities are run under the close supervision of our experienced PADI Professionals.
WHAT DO THEY NEED TO BRING?
Children should bring their swimwear and a towel. We'll provide the scuba equipment they need for their underwater experience.
